Rod McDonald
Hand Lettering
An example of McDonald's impressive hand lettering skills, circa mid-1980s

“I worked as a sign painter until I was almost 30 when we moved to Toronto and I got involved in the photo lettering business. I worked primarily as a hand lettering artist but I was also the guy they called when they needed to adapt a face for photo text setting. Working on them sparked an interest in type that is still growing after all these years.”
